Deputy Commissioner (Anthony Bendall)
- Devise, implement and manage the investigation, conciliation and audit work of the Office
- Assist organisations to improve their handling of personal information so that privacy issues are better recognized and respected
- Interpret the Information Privacy Act and advise as necessary in the context of other relevant legislation
- Assist in devising codes and guidelines to enhance organisations' understanding of the Information Privacy Act.
Director, Awareness (David Taylor)
- Provide education and training services to Victorian public sector agencies, including advice and support for them to develop their own privacy education and training programs that fit their needs and which focus on prevention of breaches of the Information Privacy Principles
- Devise, implement and continuously assess strategies to raise privacy awareness and understanding among Victorians
- Provide strategic advice to the Office regarding privacy training and awareness issues and needs.
Director, Technology (Jon Armstrong)
- Assist agencies and councils to be consistent with the Information Privacy Act on technology matters
- Develop materials which broaden the understanding of the Information Privacy Principles from a technology perspective
- Ensure that the Office is suitably informed about relevant developments in the technology sector
- Manage Privacy Victoria's information technology environment.
